How we research

Everything Izaro News publishes about Battery Bet (Batery) comes from desk research. We read and compare public sources. We did not open an account and try the service. This page explains what we read, how we weigh it, how we score and where our work stops.

The sources we use

Operator terms and licence records

The operator's published terms, bonus rules, payment information and licence details.

Indian legislation and government releases

The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, the rules made under it and official press releases.

Independent reviewer data

Published reviews from other sites that describe limits, payment methods, app details and timings.

On the licence, the record is plain: Batery holds a Curaçao gaming licence (OGL/2024/107/0914, operator YouGMedia B.V.). It is not licensed by any Indian authority.

Each guide ends with a list of the sources it relied on.

What we do not do

No hands-on claims. We do not claim to have deposited, withdrawn, installed the app, completed verification or contacted support ourselves. We do not publish timings as if we measured them.

Where we rely on someone else, the wording shows it. "Reported" and "reviewers report" mean an independent source said so. "The operator states" means the operator said so. A reported withdrawal time describes what others saw, not what you will see.

We also do not have inside access. We cannot see accounts or how individual complaints were resolved, and we do not publish claims we cannot trace to a public source.

How we handle conflicting numbers

Public figures for this brand often disagree. One reviewer lists a minimum withdrawal of ₹300, another lists ₹5,000 for UPI. Welcome bonus descriptions differ as well.

  1. Show the conflict

We print both figures and say which source gave each one. We do not average them.

  2. Explain the likely cause

Where there is an obvious reason, such as different limits for UPI and crypto, we say so. Where there is not, we say we do not know.

  3. Send you to the live figure

The number in your own cashier or account is the one that applies to you. We tell you to confirm it there before you act.

Why we do not publish user-review scores

We do not cite or describe ratings from open user-review platforms. This is an editorial decision, and the reasons are simple.

  • The samples for this brand are small, so a handful of posts can move a score a long way.
  • The reviews are unverified. Anyone can write one, including a competitor, and we cannot check whether the writer ever held an account.
  • A score built this way looks precise but we cannot stand behind it, so we would rather not print it.

We rely instead on what can be checked: licence records, the operator's published terms, Indian legislation and independent reviewer data. Leaving these scores out is not a statement about what users say, good or bad. It only means we do not use that kind of source.

Our scoring rubric

Editorial scores are out of 5 in half-point steps. They are a reasoned judgement from public evidence, not a measurement.

Izaro News scoring rubric
CriterionWhat earns a high scoreWhat earns a low score
Licence and operatorNamed company, checkable licence number, regulator with a formal complaint processNo named operator, unverifiable licence, or little recourse through the regulator
Legal protection in IndiaAuthorised under Indian law, domestic route for disputesNo Indian licence, activity restricted by Indian law, no ombudsman
PaymentsFamiliar Indian methods, clear limits, reports of timely payoutsConflicting limits, repeated reports of uncredited deposits or pending withdrawals
Terms and bonusesFull published terms, consistent across sources, realistic wageringUnclear or conflicting terms, heavy wagering
SupportSeveral published channels, local languages, clear escalation pathSlow or generic replies reported, no escalation beyond the operator
TransparencyCompany details easy to find, genuine site easy to tell from copiesMany look-alike domains, fake helpline numbers in circulation

No criterion uses scores from user-review platforms. Operator marketing figures, such as the number of games, do not raise a score on their own because they are unaudited. Where evidence is thin, we score cautiously and say so.

The limits of our work

  • We cannot confirm how any individual account, payment or complaint will be handled.
  • Our information is correct to the fact-check date on each page and can go out of date after it.
  • Reviewer data may be outdated or commercially influenced. We treat it as a report, not proof.
  • Our legal summaries are general information, not legal advice, and the law may change.
  • We are funded by an affiliate link, as explained in our editorial policy.
